Custom AN10 Hose Features
-
AN10 PTFE Hose
Our braided PTFE hoses feature a robust PTFE inner core paired with your choice of a premium braided outer layer. Choose from:
-
Stainless Steel Braiding
Offers maximum abrasion resistance.
-
Black Nylon Cotton Braiding
Slightly increased flexibility.
Both outer braiding options have the same reliable PTFE inner core and are designed to ensure consistent oil, fuel and coolant transfer, even under the most demanding conditions.
-
-
AN10 PTFE Fittings
Choose from a wide range of AN10 PTFE fittings available in multiple angles. You can also add optional adapters (male, female, banjo, barb) to the hose fittings for a seamless integration into most AN10 hose systems.
-
360 Degree Swivel Fittings
All our AN10 PTFE fittings feature a 360-degree swivel design, allowing you to easily rotate and align the fittings to any orientation you need.
-
Leak-Free Performance
Our AN10 PTFE fittings use an olive compression system combined with a modern tapered screw design, ensuring a secure, leak-proof seal.
Why PTFE instead of Rubber?
AN10 PTFE hoses are ideal for AN10 PTFE fuel lines, especially when installed within the cabin of a vehicle. The PTFE hose core significantly reduces fuel vapour loss and is fully compatible with ethanol-based fuels such as E85, as well as other high-performance racing fuels. This means you can safely run aggressive fuels like E85 without the need for frequent draining.
AN10 PTFE hoses can withstand higher temperatures compared to rubber. PTFE hose is capable of handling heat levels reaching up to an impressive 250°C.
Why AN10 PTFE Braided Hoses from Custom Hoses?

-
Can I use AN10 PTFE hoses for oil, fuel, and coolant?
Yes, AN10 braided PTFE hoses are designed to handle a variety of fluids, including oil, fuel, and coolant. They are commonly used in automotive and motorsport applications for these purposes due to their durability and reliability. Braided PTFE hose is a very popular choice for custom fuel hoses.
-
Do AN10 hoses require special tools for installation?
Our custom AN lines don't need any special tools for installation. All PTFE braided hoses arrive ready to fit and can be installed using basic tools.
-
Do the hoses require regular maintenance?
AN10 hoses are generally low maintenance, but it's a good idea to inspect them regularly for wear and tear, especially if they're exposed to high temperatures or pressures.
-
How long will my custom AN10 hoses last?
The lifespan of your custom braided hoses depends on how they're used. With correct installation and regular checks they can last for years, even in harsh conditions. For your peace of mind, our 2-year warranty also protects against material or workmanship defects.
-
How to make custom AN10 lines?
Our custom braided hose builder makes designing your custom hoses a breeze. Simply choose your hose fittings, add adapters and banjo bolts if needed and finally, choose your hose length and heatsleeve if you need it. We'll start assembling your hoses as soon as we receive your order.
-
How do I measure the hose?
The easiest way to measure your custom hose is with a piece of flexible wire or sturdy string. Make sure you go around all objects and follow all curves to make sure you don't measure the hose too tight, or the hose will be stretched when you fit it. You need to measure from the seats of male and female fittings and from the center of the hole on banjo fittings. Refer to the two vertical lines on the hose builder diagram when building your hoses as the length measurement will change depending on the chosen fitting.
-
How are your AN10 PTFE hose fittings attached to the hose?
Our braided PTFE hose fittings feature a modern, tapered screw design for a tight, leak-free connection. First, we slide the fitting collar onto the cleanly cut hose, then with the hose secured in an aluminium vice, we use an aluminium spanner to screw the nut end of the fitting into its collar. We're very careful not to over tighten as this can crack and damage the fitting.
-
Are your custom braided hoses suitable for track use?
Our custom AN hoses have been tested and trusted at the highest levels of motorsport, including British Touring Cars and Drift Masters
-
What is AN10?
AN10 is a hose fitting size, which is commonly used for automotive fluid connections. You can find detailed AN10 hose specifications on our AN hose specifications page or take a look at the specifications section below.
-
Why can't one end be open-ended like your rubber hoses?
PTFE hoses aren't compatible with hose finishers or jubilee clips, as PTFE doesn't mould or flex like rubber does. To ensure safety and reliability, we only supply our custom PTFE hoses with both PTFE hose fittings securely attached.
