What's the difference between PTFE and rubber braided hoses?
PTFE braided hoses are best for fuel systems, especially in-cabin, thanks to their vapour resistance and compatibility with E85 and other aggressive fuels. Reinforced rubber braided hoses are more flexible and ideal for external oil, fuel, and coolant systems. Most AN sizes offer both core types.

Which AN sizes are available for your custom braided hoses?
We offer custom braided hoses in sizes from AN3 through AN20. AN3 and AN4 are typically used for brake lines, clutch lines, and turbo oil feeds. AN6 to AN10 are ideal for oil, fuel, and coolant systems, while AN12, AN16, and AN20 are best suited for high-volume coolant or radiator hoses.

Can I reuse fittings from your braided hose assemblies?
Fittings are reusable only on oil, fuel, and coolant braided hoses in sizes AN6 to AN20. If your hose has a PTFE inner core, you must replace the internal olive with a brand new one when reassembling, as it is crushed during the original installation. Brake, clutch, and turbo hoses are fully swaged and are not reusable once assembled.

Is heat protection available for braided hoses?
Yes, we offer optional heatsleeve protection for custom braided hoses in sizes AN6 to AN12. This upgrade is useful when routing hoses near exhaust manifolds, turbos, or other high-heat areas. You can add it during the hose building process or find standalone options in our thermal sleeves section.
