  • What does the in-line oil thermostat do?

    It provides thermostatic control for an external oil cooler system. The thermostat begins opening at the selected temperature and progressively directs oil through the cooler circuit as oil temperature rises, while maintaining bypass circulation during warm-up.

  • Which thermostat temperatures are available?

    Choose from 82°C (180°F), 92°C (198°F) or 102°C (216°F).

  • Which hose connections are available?

    The thermostat has four M22 x 1.50 female oil ports and can be supplied without hose adapters or with four AN6, AN8, AN10 or AN12 male adapters.

  • What is the 1/8" NPT sensor port used for?

    The 1/8"-27 NPT female port accepts a compatible oil temperature or pressure sensor. A sealing plug is supplied when the sensor port is not required.

  • Can the thermostat be serviced?

    Yes. A Replacement Thermostat Valve and dedicated Service Kit are available separately.
