What is a double banjo bolt used for?
A double banjo bolt allows two banjo fittings to be connected to a single threaded hydraulic port. It is commonly used where two brake, clutch or other hydraulic lines need to share the same connection point.
-
What thread size is the AN Double Banjo Bolt?
The AN version uses an AN3 (3/8"-24 UNF) thread.
-
Can two banjo fittings be fitted to one bolt?
Yes. These bolts are specifically designed to accommodate two banjo fittings at a single threaded port.
-
What material is the AN Double Banjo Bolt made from?
It is precision CNC machined in the UK from 303/304 stainless steel for excellent strength, durability and corrosion resistance.
-
How many crush washers are required?
Three crush washers are required – one on each outer side of the two banjo fittings and one between them. Copper Crush Washers are available separately.
-
Does any 3/8"-24 UNF port accept this banjo bolt?
The threaded port must use the correct 3/8"-24 UNF thread and also be suitable for a banjo bolt connection. Always confirm the component specification and required bolt dimensions before installation.
