Weld-On AN Connections for Aluminium Fabrication

These aluminium weld-on adapters provide a male AN connection on fabricated aluminium tanks, pipes and other components. The raw aluminium weld base is designed for permanent welding, with the opposite end providing a male JIC 37° flare connection.

Male AN Connection

The male AN connection uses a JIC 37° cone flare, sealing against the corresponding female flare in a compatible AN fitting.

Designed for Aluminium Fabrication

The round weld base has a flat weld-on surface with a central fluid passage and is supplied with a raw, uncoated aluminium finish suitable for welding into compatible aluminium components.

6061-T6 Aluminium

The complete adapter is manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium.

They are supplied with a raw aluminium finish suitable for welding rather than the black anodised finish used on many of our other aluminium adapters.

Do I need thread sealant on the AN connection?
No. The AN connection seals at the mating JIC 37° flare surfaces, so PTFE tape or thread sealant should not be applied to the AN threads.
