What is a Banjo Bolt?

A banjo bolt is a hollow fastener used to attach a banjo fitting to a hydraulic component. Internal passages allow fluid to flow through the bolt and into the banjo fitting while the assembly is sealed using crush washers.

Installation

For a proper seal, each bolt requires two copper crush washers (not included) – one on each side of the banjo fitting. For racing applications, the pre-drilled head can be secured using 0.8mm stainless steel lockwire.
