Multi-Angle Thermostatic Oil Filter Sandwich Plate

This Multi-Angle Thermostatic Oil Filter Sandwich Plate installs between the engine and oil filter, providing thermostatically controlled connections for an external oil cooler. Its four-port layout gives a choice of straight or 45° hose routing to better suit the available installation space.

Flexible Hose Routing

The sandwich plate has two straight ports and two 45° ports. Either matched pair can be used for the oil-cooler hoses, allowing the hose routing angle to be selected to suit the application.

Thermostatic Oil Cooler Control

The built-in thermostat begins opening at the selected temperature and progressively directs oil through the external oil cooler circuit as oil temperature rises. Continuous bypass flow maintains circulation during warm-up.

Replaceable Thermostat

Choose from 82°C (180°F), 92°C (198°F) or 102°C (216°F). The installed thermostat can be replaced with the same temperature or changed to another available temperature if required.

Configurable Sensor Ports

The unused straight or 45° port pair can be blanked or used with compatible sensor port adapters. Available connections are 1/8"-27 NPT, M10 x 1.00 and M12 x 1.50.

Oil Filter Thread Options

Choose between M20 x 1.50 and 3/4"-16 UNF centre bolt threads to suit the engine's original oil-filter mounting thread and compatible oil filter.

Optional AN Hose Adapters

The selected M22 x 1.50 female hose port pair can be used directly or supplied with two AN6, AN8, AN10 or AN12 male adapters.

CNC-Machined Aluminium Construction

Manufactured in the UK from 6082-T6 aluminium with a grey anodised finish, the sandwich plate includes a nitrile O-ring and is suitable for oil-filter sealing diameters from 52–75mm (2.04–2.95").
