Right-Angle Thermostatic Oil Filter Sandwich Plate

This Right-Angle Thermostatic Oil Filter Sandwich Plate installs between the engine and oil filter, providing thermostatically controlled connections for an external oil cooler. Its compact 90° design allows the oil-cooler hoses to leave the sandwich plate at a right angle, making it particularly useful where straight hose routing would be restricted by surrounding components.

Compact Right-Angle Hose Routing

The right-angle port arrangement changes the direction in which the oil-cooler hoses leave the sandwich plate, providing an alternative routing option for installations with limited clearance around the oil filter mounting area.

Thermostatic Oil Cooler Control

The built-in thermostat begins opening at the selected temperature and progressively directs oil through the external oil cooler circuit as oil temperature rises. Continuous bypass flow maintains circulation through the cooler circuit during warm-up.

Replaceable Thermostat

Choose from 82°C (180°F), 92°C (198°F) or 102°C (216°F). The installed thermostat can be replaced with the same temperature or changed to another available temperature if required.

Oil Filter Thread Options

Choose between M20 x 1.50 and 3/4"-16 UNF centre bolt threads to suit the engine's original oil filter mounting thread and compatible oil filter.

Optional AN Hose Adapters

Two M22 x 1.50 female hose connections can be used directly or supplied with two AN6, AN8, AN10 or AN12 male adapters.

CNC-Machined Aluminium Construction

Manufactured in the UK from 6082-T6 aluminium with a grey anodised finish, the sandwich plate includes a nitrile O-ring and is suitable for oil filter sealing diameters from 52–75mm (2.04–2.95").
