These bonded seal Dowty washers combine a mild steel outer ring with a bonded rubber sealing element to create a seal between suitable fluid fittings and their mating surfaces.

As the connection is tightened, the rubber element compresses against the mating surfaces while the metal outer ring supports the seal and controls compression.

Bonded Metal & Rubber Construction

The mild steel outer ring provides structural support around the bonded rubber sealing element. This construction allows the elastomer element to form the seal without relying on deformation of the complete washer.

Condition-Dependent Reuse
